Sun Peaks Resort boasts the highest elevation in BC. Which makes for longer ball flight in the thinner air, the front nine is very challenging with its narrow fairways. Were the wise golfer might keep the drive in the bag, but the brave one can take that risk reward approach. Then the back nine has fairways that are more open challenging the long hitter to go for it.
This Graham Cooke-designed course is situated in a beautiful valley with three mountains surrounding it. Sun Peaks is often 10 degrees cooler than Kamloops which give golfers some relief for the heat in the summer months.
The best, easiest, and most direct route to Sun Peaks Resort is via Highway 5 North, exiting at Tod Mountain Road by Heffley Creek, BC. Some GPS providers
